The pathway
From Indian diploma to Dutch nurse, step by step.
Every stage is mapped, lawful, and explained before it happens. Here is the whole journey. No surprises, no shortcuts.
- 01
Apply & assess
Your application tells us your nursing qualification, experience, and language level. We assess where you fit in the Dutch system and tell you plainly from the first conversation what the route involves and how long it takes.
- 02
Prepare & learn Dutch
Language is the gate, so it comes first. You train to the Dutch level your role requires while you are still at home, alongside preparation for how Dutch healthcare actually works day to day. You arrive ready, not scrambling.
- 03
BIG-track started
We walk you through credential evaluation and the BIG-register route, with every requirement and cost laid out in advance. No surprises, no informal shortcuts. The recognition process is underway before you board the plane.
- 04
Placement & visa
We match you to an employer who has prepared for your arrival, and handle the single work-and-residence permit. You arrive as an assisting nurse, working on the ward from day one while your BIG registration completes.
- 05
Registration & beyond
You work as an assisting nurse under supervision while the final BIG-register steps are completed. Within roughly six months you are a fully registered, independent nurse in the Netherlands. We stay with you through that transition and beyond.
